Thomas Frank insists he is unfazed by Tottenham’s history of managerial changes and says he is staying at the club for the long haul.

Speaking at his first press conference since taking over as new manager in June, Frank joked that despite never being sacked, he took the Spurs job to “add some risk to your daily life”.

Although Frank’s tone ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี is easygoing, there’s no denying that the demands for this position have been difficult over the past four years.

Spurs have had four managers since June 2021, with Nuno Espirito Santo staying for just four months, Antonio Conte for 16 months and Ange Postecoglou, who ended the club’s 17-year wait for major trophies with the Europa League, only staying for two years.

“Coming to a big club means there is pressure,” the Danish coach said.

“I like ambition, and everything I do, every decision I make, is a long-term goal. It’s not just about surviving for 18 months, it’s a long-term goal.”

The 51-year-old said it was “really good” that the club won the Europa League last season and while he is keen to add to the trophy list, his main focus is to ensure Spurs are competitive in all competitions.

“Winning the Europa League gives them a great trophy that this club deserves and must win,” he said.

“My goal is to build on that. The first goal is to be able to compete in all four events and do it consistently.”
