La Liga president Javier Tebas says Barcelona’s player registrations should go smoothly this off-season

La Liga president Javier Tebas has revealed that Barcelona’s registration issues are down to the club’s management and he is not too concerned about them.

‘I haven’t spoken to anyone at the club for two or three days and this is a matter for La Liga’s financial control department, they are the ones who handle this. We have a website where the registrations are published.’

‘If you don’t see a new name appear. It’s because the player has not been register or all the necessary documents have not been submitt.’ 

One of the players in question is goalkeeper Joan Garcia, who recently joined Barcelona from Espanyol. His registration has yet to be confirm, adding to the speculation about Barcelona’s financial situation.

But Tebas said there was no reason to panic. ‘Honestly, I’m not too worry about Barcelona this season.’

Under Hansi Flick’s leadership, the Blaugrana are eager to bolster their squad. Yet compliance with La Liga’s stringent Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations remains a hurdle.
